Jessica Potter
Birth is a blessed event. As a doula, I strive to support birthing parents to have a positive birth experience that encompasses the physical, emotional, and informational aspects of this sacred time so they can feel empowered to make decisions that best fit them and their specific situation. I integrate my support role with the rest of the care team, maintaining a high standard of professionalism and mutual respect to promote a positive birth environment.
I started my path as a doula in 2008, and have had the privilege of supporting families for over 14 years. Along the way, I have been able to expand my knowledge base being certified as a Hypnobabies certified doula and completing the Spinning Babies training as well. In my years, I have had the experience of supporting families with multiples, LGBQT families, parents expecting after a loss, and birthing people navigating the adoption process. I am also a certified childbirth educator and enjoy providing information to expecting families during their planning and dream-casting journey prior to the arrival of their babies.
I am a Colorado native and enjoy hiking, traveling, cheering on my beloved Colorado Avalanche, geocaching and knitting. I have 3 amazing kids and am married to my high school squeeze.

“Jessica provided a lot of support with her knowledge of natural birth as a whole. She gave input on how my labor was progressing and suggested position changes, which helped my baby descend. Her calm presence allowed me to stay present and calm. She was a huge encouragement to me on things I had concerns or questions about. She also helped me feel grounded throughout labor.”
“Jessica was instrumental during my delivery. I’m honestly not sure I could have gotten through it without her! I was so nervous with this being my first child but her presence was so calming. Both my husband and mom were relieved she was there with us. She was so helpful during the many hours of my labor and was the main person I focused on during my delivery. She was worth her weight in gold. I strongly recommend using her as your doula and wouldn’t hesitate to use her again. Thank you for everything, Jessica!”
“We were very pleased with Jessica Potter as our doula. She not only coached us through the birthing process, but also armed us with data and resources that we needed to request the birthing experience that we wanted for our first born. Also, she took wonderful photos of the baby when he first came out and we will look back in them for years to come, and followed up with us post-birth to make sure we were doing alright. We are very pleased with our experience.”
