My name is Sarah and I’m a DONA International Certified Birth Doula. I am committed to connecting with my clients to form an intimate and trusting relationship. I want to encourage an empowering birth for you and your family!  My goal is to cherish your inner child, along with the new child being born. Together, we can create a positive experience, one that you will love talking about for decades!

I am passionate about education as I believe that knowledge is power.  When labor begins, I want you to feel confident and ready. After all, pregnancy is not a disease… only 6-8% are considered high risk!  I will be by your side through your spontaneous, induced and cesarean births. 

My professional background involves 20+ years in medical sales… as well as becoming a parent myself in 2015.  My daughter, Colette, was born at Rose Hospital so I have very fond feelings and memories.  However, looking back, I wish I had someone by my side, guiding me through each contraction and stage. In all my years in sales, I’d longed to do more meaningful work. I want to build women up and restore some faith in humanity and community. Covid layoffs in 2020 finally encouraged me to start taking health care classes, apply to nursing school and become a birth doula!

My education certificates include Basic Lactation, Childbirth for Doulas, DONA Approved Birth Doula Workshop, Abortion Doula, TENS Device, Rebozo, Spinning Babies, Stop the Bleed and Basic Life Support. I will become a Registered Nurse early 2025 as well!
