Taylour Hoberman
I am passionate about supporting parents in having healthy and peaceful experiences in pregnancy and birth. I provide unconditional support, tools, comfort measures and evidence-based information so you feel empowered to make the best decisions for yourself and your family. I will meet you where you are and am supportive of the birth experience you desire – whatever that may be.
My journey to this work started with the birth of my first son at Rose in 2019. Although his birth had some unexpected complications, the support and care I received made my experience really positive. Becoming a mom changed my world and I was suddenly in awe of the strength of all mothers who came before me and knew there was work to be done to support those who came after. I earned my birth doula certification through DONA International in 2021.
I had my second baby boy in 2024 at Rose. It was a completely different birth, but nonetheless a memorable and loving experience, this time as a doula with much more knowledge in the birth space.
I have lived in Colorado since 2000 and hold a Master’s of Public Administration from the University of Colorado and a B.S. in Journalism from Colorado State University. When I’m not chasing my two boys around the playgrounds of Denver, I enjoy practicing yoga, preparing meals that require less than 30 minutes of cooking, spending time with my husband and exploring the mountains.
I bring a compassionate and gentle, fun-loving and light presence to the birth room. With each birth, I feel so honored to be invited to witness and hold space for such an important time in your lives.

“As first-time parents, we were so relieved to have Taylour as our doula. She was calm, knowledgeable and supportive. She immediately felt like someone we knew for a while and helped make our labor and delivery go smoothly.”
“One of many pieces of advice we received while pregnant was to find a doula. However, neither my husband nor I initially loved the idea of sharing our birth space with a stranger, so we decided to research our local options and see if we might be able to find someone that was the right fit.
In our search, we found Taylour, and we couldn’t have made a better choice in choosing to work with her. Taylour is knowledgeable, helpful, professional, friendly and warm, aware, supportive, and just extremely pleasant and easy to be around. She made sure both my husband and I were extremely well taken care of throughout our entire labor and birth experience, so much so that looking back, it felt like we were in a nice hotel rather than a sterile hospital room when delivering our baby. She was encouraging and helpful in all the right ways, and even the L&D nurses complimented our choice once we shared that Taylour was on her way to our birth room- it was obvious they all loved her too.
She also was excellent with taking photos and videos of our birth and the moments following (which we asked her to do), and the fact that we didn’t have to worry about anything post birth other than enjoying our little one, while also having a treasure trove of photos and videos to look back on, is priceless. I can’t say enough about how incredible of an experience we had during our delivery, and so much of that is owed to Taylour.
We highly recommend her, and feel so fortunate to have had her assist us with our birth!! ”
“We had our baby at Rose and had Taylour as our doula. We wanted to say just how incredible she was and have no idea what we would have done without her. She was calm, measured, decisive and really helped my husband and I work as a team. She stayed to make sure we were doing well and even checked in with us the next day. If we have another child, Taylour will be our first choice, and we will be 100% recommending her to friends who are also having kids.”
“I wanted to mention to you how much I loved working with your doula program. I was originally supposed to have another doula, but Wyatt decided to make his arrival 3 weeks early so she was unavailable. Our primary doula seamlessly transitioned us over to working with Taylour who was incredible. I was a little nervous having not met her before, but the moment she walked into the room she brought such a familiar and calming presence with her that I immediately knew it was going to be a great partnership, and it was!
One of my favorite parts about working with Taylour was how she organized the personalities in the room. My mother and husband were both in the room with me, and I had been nervous that there would be too many people and not enough ways for each to feel like they contributed. Taylour was able to guide everyone gently into a support role, and it all felt so seamless to me. Each person had their place, which made me feel so comforted and supported during the process.
Taylour also just had an incredible presence to her that made me feel so confident. I remember having a moment, during transition, when I was wondering "can I do this?” Taylour walked around to face me, grabbing my hand and looking me straight in the eyes she said to me, " You are surrounded by people who love you and you are safe.” It was such an intimate moment and exactly what I needed to hear. Throughout the entire process she knew exactly what to say and what to do to make me feel confident. She knew when to encourage me, when to laugh with me, and when to offer comforting words.
I could go on and on about how fantastic it was working with Taylour, from her dedication (I felt most comfortable contracting in a deep squat so Taylour did about 4 hours of squats with me while doing hip squeezes ha!), to the presence she brought to the room, she was amazing. I cannot thank the doula program and Taylour enough for helping me to have such an amazing un-medicated childbirth experience.”
